Our Palestinian friend Linah shares with us this delicious rice dish!

Mjdara is a well-known dish in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. Though some of
the ingredients differ from one country to another the dish is mainly rice, green
lentils and onions.

The golden meal is known to be the food of the poor since it doesn’t contain any
meat. It’s healthy, delicious and perfect for those learning how to cook.

– 2 medium-sized onions.
– 1 cup of lentil
– 1 cup of rice (basmati)

4-cook the lentil till it becomes soft enough to crush
5-Add the rice, add one more cup of water
